YADE GRUP / OUR EXPERTISE

Furniture

We consider furniture needs within the whole space, bringing together dimensions, everyday use, storage, materials and the details of manufacturing.

OUR APPROACH

Our approach to furniture

Furniture manufacturing is one of the fields Yade Grup has worked in since 2013. A furniture discussion considers how an item fits its setting and meets a need, as well as how it looks. Dimensions, objects to store, surface preferences and other elements in the room all inform the conversation. As quantities, materials, details and fitting conditions become clearer, the design and manufacturing topics to include can be defined more precisely.

SERVICE SCOPE

The decisions we consider together.

01

Dimensions and placement

Placement, available space, clearances for cabinet doors and circulation are considered together. The accuracy of existing dimensions and clarification of required measurements are important topics before manufacturing decisions.

02

Use and storage

Objects to store, access habits and frequency of use help define the furniture need. Internal organisation, open and closed sections and everyday expectations are discussed in this context.

03

Materials and junctions

Surface, colour, texture and hardware preferences are considered alongside intensity of use. Edges, fronts and junctions are discussed in relation to practical use as well as appearance.

04

Manufacturing scope

Quantities, dimensions, material preferences and conditions in the space are key inputs for a manufacturing discussion. The relationship between design and production details, and the scope boundaries, is clarified together.

BEHIND THE DECISIONS

From dimensions to daily habits

In a storage unit, shelf spacing, access and surface relationships need to be considered together. Our furniture selection provides close-up examples for discussing materials, junctions and placement within a space.

THE PROCESS

From understanding to clear decisions.

  1. 01

    Describe the need

We discuss what furniture is needed, where it will go and how it will be used. Objects, user habits and storage expectations help define its function.

  2. 02

    Consider dimensions and setting

Photographs, plans and dimensions help frame the placement discussion. Measurements and information about the setting that need clarification before production decisions are identified.

  3. 03

    Discuss materials and details

Surface, colour, internal organisation and hardware preferences are considered around everyday use. We discuss which qualities in reference images respond to your needs.

  4. 04

    Clarify the items and scope

Items, quantities, dimensions and material decisions are discussed alongside the working scope. Expectations relating to manufacturing and fitting in the space are clarified separately.

FOR OUR FIRST CONVERSATION

Start with a clearer picture.

Sharing the following information, where available, helps us discuss your needs and priorities more clearly.

  • Photographs of the intended space, any available plan and existing approximate dimensions.
  • The purpose of the furniture, objects to store and difficulties with the current arrangement.
  • The specific qualities you like in reference examples, material preferences and your budget range.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before we begin.

How should I explain a made-to-measure need?

Describe the position, intended use and objects you want to store. Photographs, any available plan and approximate dimensions help with an initial discussion. Measurements that need clarification before manufacturing decisions are considered separately.

What should inform the material choice?

Appearance should be considered alongside intensity of use, cleaning and maintenance expectations, surrounding surfaces and budget. Start with your colour and texture preferences; options are then discussed around the item’s use and the defined working scope.

Are manufacturing and fitting considered within the same scope?

The scope of each is clarified around the items and the conditions in the space. After discussing quantities, dimensions, materials and needs at the location, the work to be considered and its boundaries can be addressed explicitly.

LET’S BEGIN

Let’s define what your project needs.

Share your plans, the existing conditions and your priorities. Let’s discuss where your project needs support in an initial conversation.
